Yields: 12 sliders | Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 20 mins

Ingredients

The Bread: 1 pack (12 count) Sweet Hawaiian rolls or slider buns.

The Beef: 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style) or steak strips.

The Veggies: 1 large green bell pepper and 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.

The Cheese: 8-10 slices of Provolone or white American cheese.

The Glaze: * 4 tbsp melted butter.

1 tsp garlic powder.

1 tsp dried parsley.

Cooking Oil: 1 tbsp olive oil.

Instructions

Sauté the Veggies: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced peppers and onions. Sauté until softened and slightly charred (about 5-7 minutes). Set aside.

Prepare the Rolls: Without pulling the rolls apart, slice the entire slab in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.

Layer Up:

Lay half of the cheese slices on the bottom buns.

Layer the roast beef evenly over the cheese.

Spread the sautéed peppers and onions over the beef.

Top with the remaining cheese slices.

Cover: Place the top half of the rolls back on.

Buttery Glaze: Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush it generously over the tops of the buns.

Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the buns are golden and the cheese is fully melted.

Serve: Slice into individual sliders and serve hot!
