One-Pot Beefy Ravioli & Tomato Sauce A delicious, cheesy version of the classic meat sauce recipe.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 25–30 minutes
Servings: 4–6

Ingredients

1 lb (500g) Ground Beef
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
3 cloves Garlic, minced
24 oz (700g) Marinara or Tomato Sauce
1 bag (approx. 20 oz) Frozen or Fresh Ravioli (Cheese or Meat filled)
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup Beef Broth or Water
1 tsp Italian Seasoning (Oregano, Basil, Thyme)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Fresh Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Brown the Beef & Aromatics
In a large deep skillet or pot, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is fully browned and the onions are soft. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Drain any excess grease.
2. Season and Sauce
Season the meat with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the tomato sauce and the beef broth. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
3. Add the Ravioli
Carefully add the ravioli into the sauce. Stir gently to make sure all the pasta is covered by the liquid.
If using fresh ravioli: Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
If using frozen ravioli: Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until tender.
4. Add the Cheese Layer
Once the pasta is cooked, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the top. Cover the pot for 2 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish and Serve
Top with fresh parsley (as seen in your photo). Serve directly from the pan for a cozy, home-cooked feel.
